worried eyes.

late night phone calls with producer.  the truth of independent film? between a rock and a hard place. money money money money money money. sister says, you have to be more direct. astrologer says, you have to realize this isn't charity. why is asking for money the hardest thing for me when I can march right up to my sheroes and ask them to be in the film without flinching? where is the psychological hang up here? i don't think any independent film is made these days without the filmmaker begging every person they know for a dime.
